Data Engineer - Remote at Country Financial in Bloomington, IL

At COUNTRY Financial, our Data Engineer will be part of the Data Engineering and Analytics Team at COUNTRY Financial and help the business leverage data and analytics to drive data driven decisions. On this highly collaborative team, you will help mature the data lake and other foundational platforms used for data science, advanced analytics, and reporting. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and can be based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL or Alpharetta, GA. How does a Data Engineer make an impact? Designs solutions after gathering business and technical requirements. Develops software solutions that are high performing and meet technical standards. Supports testing and problem solving/debugging of solutions. Implements software solutions following best practices. Do you have what we're looking for? Experience with Data Warehouse concepts. Experience with Data Integration tools & concepts. Experience with Data Management concepts. Experience with Java, Python or Spark programming languages. Experience with Hadoop. Experience with Azure or other cloud provider. Experience with Git and DevOps practices. Familiar with Tableau, and Power BI. Ability to turn Business Requirements into Technical Specifications. Excellent communication skills. Typically requires bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of information technology experience (or equivalent, such as 10 years of experience or master's degree and 6 years of experience) and 1 year lead experience.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Data Science & Machine LearningEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
