This Network Security Engineer is responsible the planning, selection, build, and maintenance of high-quality Network Security related solutions that meets defined and emerging business capability needs in a cost-effective manner. You will partner with security peers and Enterprise Architecture to establish, understand and adhere to technical and IT security standards. Creating non-functional and functional requirements to build stable, secure, and resilient solutions will be required. Documentation of processes and procedures for efficient and effective ongoing maintenance of the technology. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and can be based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL, Alpharetta, GA or Minneapolis, MN. How does a Database Reliability Engineer make an impact? Design, build, implement, and support COUNTRY's IT database platforms on-premises and in the cloud. Ensure database platforms meet requirements for security, availability, capacity, resiliency, disaster recovery, and performance in a way that is efficient and supportable, reducing overall support costs. Work with the database engineers and business areas to leverage CI/CD pipelines which push their own deployments using scripting, database, and web development languages. Design and implement automation and self-service strategies to empower end users. Implement and enforce standards for cloud based DBMS platforms. Analyze performance metrics to develop proactive solutions and minimize reactive situations. Ensure database backups are taken, retained, and verified per company policies. years' experience in managing one or more perimeter security products that cover:
Firewalls, Forward proxies (policy administration, content filtering, etc), Intrusion Prevention, and network authentication (RADIUS). Experience providing architectural oversight and guidance for perimeter security technologies. Preferred experience in troubleshooting / diagnosing issues related to the previously listed technologies. Basic knowledge and understanding of perimeter network topology & interconnectivity. Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Strong oral and written communications skills Typically requires bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of information technology experience (or equivalent, such as 7 years of experience or master's degree and 3 years of experience).
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
