As a Business Intelligence Manager you'll help stand up and lead a newly created department within our Commercial and Agribusiness Product Management team. Your team will drive business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to decision makers. Collect, aggregate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources to drive insights into business performance. Produce actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems. Use analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts of potential costs, risks, and profits of new business initiatives. Communicate findings and insight to stakeholders and provide business strategy recommendations for optimizing business performance. Provide reporting solutions and respond to ad-hoc report requests across multiple business areas. Participate in the design and development of business intelligence reporting tools. May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL. How does a Business Intelligence Manager make an impact? Works with business intelligence and research analysts to develop solutions for process owners. Collaborates with business areas to assess and prioritize needs. Evaluates results to determine if objectives are met. Manages the implementation and maintenance of disaster recovery plans and activities in assigned areas. Maintains current contact information for all employees in applicable areas and communicates with non-recovery employees during a disaster. Fosters the highest level of commitment among our people through transparent communication about business challenges, successes and results. Creates an environment which encourages people to think, behave, take action and control work and make decisions autonomously to attain clear goals. Takes personal responsibility for making tough decisions, meeting commitments and ensuring expected results are achieved. Do you have what we're looking for? Previous leadership experience, ideally in data and analytics. Experience in P&C insurance. Typically requires bachelor's degree and 8 years of research or data analytics experience (or equivalent, such as 10 years of experience or master's degree and 6 years of experience), including 2 years of management experience.
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Business Intelligence & AnalyticsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
