HR Business Partner

COUNTRY Financial is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join a high functioning HR team to support the business. The role is heavily strategic in nature where the candidate will support leadership at the highest levels of the organization with a strategic focus; understanding and creating a vision for talent strategy in the business, the development of a strategic workforce plan; identifying talent issues before they impact the business; supporting and leading organizational structure changes based on strategic objectives. Adjusting HR strategies to respond to changing business needs; identifying critical HR metrics to help leadership make strategic business decisions impacting the workforce. This position implements corporate policy and HR processes at the business unit or division level. Facilitates organization and leadership development efforts, working with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues. Resolves employee relations issues through a systematic approach. This position requires a strong understanding of HR functions as the candidate will partner with HR SMEs to develop and drive company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, workforce planning, and organizational change). This position is often viewed as a strategic business partner, change agent, and member of the line management staff. The person in this role works closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to human resources, organizational and employee development at the business unit or division level. Consults with managers to address employee engagement issues attempting to improve engagement with a systematic approach. Participates in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., salary review, workforce planning, and organizational change). Assists senior management in the development of solutions through organizational development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives. May play a role in administering talent management and succession planning activity within client organization. Collaborates with other HR Business Partners to ensure consistent service is provided across the organization. Often viewed as a strategic business partner, change agent, and member of the line management staff. Key skills and abilities include coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis and problem solving. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL. How does a Human Resources Business Partner make an impact? Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies. Provides performance management guidance to senior management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning. Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. May serve as project lead for enterprise and/or Business Unit assigned projects. Do you have what we're looking for? Expertise in multiple HR disciplines, proven ability to consult with and coach business leaders and insights into the organization and/or key business areas. Strategic mindset:
anticipate future trends and implications accurately. Experience analyzing data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities, and uncovering levers impacting these issues, and developing recommendations for improvement. Includes applying or developing formulas to analyze, manipulate, and display trends and forecast data using Excel. Manages ambiguity and comfortable with the uncertainty of change; is energized when faced with ambiguity and uncertainty; makes progress and remains calm and composed, even when things are uncertain; deals constructively with problems that do not have clear solutions or outcomes. Insights into the organization and/or key business areas, expertise in multiple HR disciplines, proven ability to consult with and coach business leaders. Typically requires bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of human resources or related experience (or equivalent, such as 10 years of experience or master's degree and 6 years of experience) and one year lead experience. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
