OverviewChestnut Health Systems is seeking a full-time Director of Information Technology (IT) for our Organization.

ResponsibilitiesStrategic and operational planning - serve as liaison to corporate management regarding IS development and needs.
; assist in determining Information Technology requirements of corporate management and clinical and operating divisions; provide long-range planning and advice to senior managers on technology matters.
Budget management - submit IT budget request each fiscal year; facilitate and manage technology requests and expenditures with various managers; manage and reduce costs where possible and appropriate.
IT Policy management - create, revise, and enforce (as appropriate and in conjunction with HR and senior management) policies related to the use of technology, data, and systems; advise senior management on related needs.
Project management - direct the implementation and monitoring of ongoing information systems projects; provide direction to IT department managers and staff and their work, coordination, and management of such projects.
Information Security management - act as Security Officer for the overall organization as defined by Chestnut security policies; coordinate technical aspects of security / risk management through IT staff, other Chestnut staff, and vendors as needed; create and update policy and procedures related to security and communicate to general staff.
Technical Support management - oversee IT department efforts and strategies for resolving technical problems and handling various support issues encountered with new and existing information systems.
Keep current on IS/IT technologies; make recommendations to corporate managers on ways to use current and new technologies most effectively; oversee IT department management and staff efforts on same.
Review and recommend changes in the corporate IT infrastructure as the needs of the organization dictate.
Maintain inventory of hardware and software and recommend changes/upgrades in same as needs of the organization dictate.
Training - coordinate training efforts relating to new and existing IS technologies; direct and acquire internal and external IT resources as needed to develop staff expertise on IT department-supported systems.
Assist with development of information flow, information analysis as requested.
Promote Chestnut's culture of customer service excellence through the adherence to Chestnut's behavioral standards for customer service.
Maintain and protect confidentiality and security of all organizational information gained in the course of performing job responsibilities including, but not limited to, financial and client information.
Other duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer.
QualificationsPosition requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (Health IT degree preferred) and five years related experience; or at least seven years relevant IT management experience.
Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise and provide project management is essential, as well as must possess a basic and broad understanding of the technologies in use by the organization.
Excellent leadership, organizational and strategic planning skills are required.
Good written and verbal communication skills are also required.
Satisfactory completion of Chestnut's background checking process.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
