OverviewRewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing direct services to adults in recovery.
This temporary, part-time position is based in Bloomington, IL.
A variety of degrees and work experience may qualify you for the position.
ResponsibilitiesConduct diagnostic and assessment evaluations with clients and families.
Develop master treatment plans.
Determine continuing care plans with structured guidance and oversight.
Provide basic individual, family, and group counseling and rehabilitation services to clients and families.
Facilitate skills and educational groups.
Maintain regular contact with each client's collaterals.
Provide court testimony when requested.
Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness.
QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent plus 5 years supervised mental health or SUD experience; OR Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, education, psychology, or related human service field; or attainment of CADC in good standing with the State of Illinois.
Basic computer skills including MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and an electronic medical record.
Valid driver's license, private auto insurance, and must be insurable.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
