CARA's Bloomingon, Illinois-based Property and Casualty insurance client is looking for a Instructional Designer for a consulting assignment.
The Instructional Designer will primarily work on the front end Needs Analysis for a number of employee learning requirements. The Instructional Designer will have strong consulting skills that enable them to help business areas translate their learning needs into learning products. They will also serve as a liaison for the L&D Group to the business leaders.
Summary or Requirements
Must have strong Need Analysis background and ability to recommend solutions as well as options and costs associated with solutions
Ability to establish project goals, objectives, and strategy
Work with business leaders to understand learning and performance needs
Determine implementation, delivery, and evaluation strategy
Act as the liaison between various business areas and vendors
Communicates business partner expectations to project teams and assist in creating L&D project plans
Must have 10 plus years of experience working in a large company environment.
Past experience designing and developing eLearning with Adobe Captivate tools a plus
Work onsite in Central Illinois for 6 months to a year
