Position is open to Internal OSF HealthCare employees only. Summary: Provide excellent customer service to guests of the OSF Marketplace retail location. Performs tasks that ensure a smooth operation and maintains OSF Marketplace standards at all times. Essential Job Functions: 1. Serves guests efficiently and courteously by meeting customer expectations, answering questions. Establish rapport with customers to better understand their needs. 2. Maintains and demonstrates a complete knowledge of all products, services, and hours of operation. 3. Follows all established protocols and processes for specified products. i.e....preparing beverages and food. 4. Follows established cash handling procedures. 5. Suggestively up-sell and offer benefits of the loyalty program to all guests. 6. Follows established cash handling procedures. 7. Stocks supplies and merchandise as needed. 8. Assist with inventory control and merchandise displays. 9. Work cohesively with other departments and co-workers in an effort to accomplish related results. 10. Practice safety and sanitation techniques which meet customer expectations, department standards and regulatory requirements. a. Utilizes "clean as you go" system throughout the day b. Keeps work area cleaned and organized at all times c. Performs daily and weekly cleaning assignments d. Follows proper food handling techniques e. Ensures food supplies are maintained in a temperature zone as appropriate. f. Monitors food safety - label, dates, etc. g. Maintains equipment in working order, notifies team lead when equipment malfunctions. 11. All other duties as assigned by the team lead. Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years old. Food service and cashier experience preferred. Well-groomed appearance, pleasant personality Knowledge, Ability and Skills 1. Exceptional customer service and organizational skills 2. Ability to pay attention to detail. 3. Ability to prioritize and organize in a fast paced environment. 4. Good verbal communication skills 5. Ability to effectively interact with all types of guests Typical Physical Demands: Constant standing and walking. Frequent reaching, grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, squatting, kneeling and bending. Lift / carry up to 40 lbs Operates a variety of machinery including cash register, beverage makers, computers, etc. Exposed to hot liquids. Subject to burns and cuts.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
