PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Provides customer service, order processing, billing and dispatching services for the GROWMARK System.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsible for assisting Transportation Analyst with daily duties.

Enter orders, tenders loads to carriers, and monitors progress using GROWMARKS dispatching and load tracking tools.

Responsible for generating and optimizing savings for member cooperatives and GROWMARK by analyzing all possible price, freight, and FSC combinations.
Utilizes Member Advantage Pricing (MAP).

Monitors Energy product prices, costs, and availability.
Identifies orders affected, re-prices, and re-sources them to reduce overall member cooperative/GROWMARK cost.

Responsible for accurately updating the GROWMARK billing system, including VIM invoice scanning.

Completes carrier freight bill payment, audits carrier invoices to verify correct charges, handles electronic disputes, and pays Carrier freight invoices.

Assures correct member cooperative billing, helps resolve any discrepancies, and ensures that SAP is updated with the appropriate changes.

Dispatches night fill and early morning NH3 loads to appropriate carriers.

Maintain excellent analytical skills and knowledge of GROWMARK procedures, freight rate structures, fuel surcharge calculations, and an ability to read and understand GROWMARK carrier contracts and insurance certificates.

Receives and logs all after hour calls to the dispatch office and responds with appropriate action.

Performs bill of lading match and audit function, including NH3 Bill of Lading scanning.

Coordinates carrier insurance certificates with Insurance Services.

Maintains various daily reports and distributes to appropriate area.

Conducts nightly audit particularly looking for loads that need to be freight blocked for extra charges.
Request charges to be sent to respective carriers w/appropriate Dispatch Teams included.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Advises Transportation Analysts of actions taken effecting routing or morning activities.

Communicates weekly load information to appropriate groups.

Assists other GROWMARK departments with inquiries and requests.

Follows GROWMARK s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a two year degree or related work experience to demonstrate the ability to learn transportation and dispatching skills.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development.

Ability to learn Transportation Analyst responsibilities utilizing dispatch tools.

Proven professional communication and customer service skills.

Demonstrated analytic problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Capable of multi-tasking in a high stress environment.

Ability to interpret a road map legend and its content and provide driving directions to others.

Ability to work extended hours and weekends, as business requires.

Must have and maintain a valid driver s license and satisfactory driving record.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
