be/CSVMnKCySsY PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENTEnsures that GROWMARK supported software applications for the Agronomy supply chain are designed, enhanced, tested, and implemented in a manner to best meet end user needs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSProvides training, and assistance to software users in the entire Agronomy supply chain, including GROWMARK Corporate, Member/Retail, and end customer users.
Serves as a liaison to Agronomy Division, Agronomy Accounting, and retail level companies to maximize the integration of information systems and technology including, but not be limited to, SAP, eSupply, Agvance and other supported software applications.
Identifies and documents potential system enhancements and leads the testing of new solutions.
Assists with project management plans for the implementation of new or revised Agronomy software applications are in place, adhered to, and completed as scheduled.
Consults with potential users to determine their specific business needs and utilizes thorough detailed technical and functional knowledge of corporately supported technologies to determine the specific software applications, modifications, customizations, and enhancements necessary to meet those needs.
Coordinates with others in IT Portfolio to ensure alignment and coordination of all technology and software systems both within GROWMARK and at the retail level.
Creates, maintains, and distributes documentation and reference guides to users on assigned software application and hardware.
Assists with the distribution and installation of the current version of all assigned applications and ensures that users are provided with the current version of applications.
Performs various administrative functions in SAP applications related to master data, customer billing, and general order processing.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONSFollows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTSNormally requires a bachelor's degree in information systems, accounting, or business, or the equivalent thereof, and 3-4 years or more of related work experience to demonstrate applications working knowledge to provide computer software recommendations, support, and leadership to Agronomy business areas.
Understanding of and experience with GROWMARK's SAP system and how the various applications interface and interact with one another.
Ability to provide technical support, resource management, training, and leadership to new and existing users.
Proven leadership skills and a consistent track record of successfully achieving results through others.
Demonstrated planning, organization, analytical, diagnostic, problem-solving, and project management skills and the ability to read and interpret technical material.
Proven team building skills and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Proven computer skills and the ability to use the computer to enhance business processes.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Must have a valid driver's license and passport with the ability to work extended hours and travel independently overnight.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
