This car was a gift to me from my grandfather for my high school graduation in 1980.
I drove it for a couple years and loved it! Then I moved and left it with my cousin.
My cousin parked it behind his barn in approximately 1988 where it sat for 30 years.
My dad found it behind the barn and phoned me in NYC and together we decided to have it completely restored and rebuilt.
It was over a year long project but quite a bonding experience.
I still live in NYC but today the car sits in storage in Bloomington IL.
It is a beautiful collectors item and deserves to be on the road and with the right owner.
